…showed last 75 words of 976 total…when he had a happy life. I disliked the parts when his mom beat him or abused him in some hideous way. It made me want to cry. I really enjoyed the book though because it made me realize all the things I take for granted. This story had many themes I believe that one was, No matter what happens never give up because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
