What are the conflicting forces in this play and who is right or wrong?
I found three main conflicts, all of which involves Creon, the kind of Thebes. The first one is Creon vs. Antigone. They argued about her disobeying Creon’s orders and how to punish her. I think she was the right one. I came to this conclusion, because I feel that if I was in her position I would hope I would

is the function of the chorus? What information do they impart to us?
The chorus acts sort of like the narrator of the story. The chorus is “all knowing.” The chorus summarizes what is going on, sets the mood for the next scene, describes the mood at the end of a scene, and expresses the emotions of the characters. The chorus tells of emotions that we would not necessarily know without hearing it from them.
