Mary Louise Pratt states who has the last word when two different parties interact, the authoritive figure. What’s right or wrong in their own image regardless of what the lower party thinks. The rules only change when parties of the same class or culture interact, enabling them to discuss their own viewpoints amongst each other, not whats in the images of higher parties.
