Psalm 73
The psalm is ascribed to Asaph, leader of one of David’s Levetical choirs. This psalm begins a collection of 11 psalms by the Asaphite clan.
As an introduction to this Psalm, its good to know some facts about Asaph the author of this psalm and his family of singers. Throughout many of the Psalms and other OT books of 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra and Nehemiah, the Asaph family keeps poppling up every time music is mentioned.

even some doubts. But keep holding onto God’s hand and keep coming back to his sanctuary and to His Word. There we will find all our anxieties taken away and the peace that passeth all understanding poured into our hearts.
In Psalm 73, Asaph is going through the dark tunnel emotionally, but comes out with a stronger faith in God. Through all the pain and doubting, he still desired God more than anything on earth.
