Artist Fay Jones a veteran of the Seattle art community, currently has on display works of acrylic paintings spanning the last twenty years of her career. with the sense of a somber romantic mood throughout it. This painting incorporates spectators to become involved in the artist's humanistic view of the world. As I studied the painting more, by viewing it several times over the past two weeks. I feel as if the artist included the viewer (me) in the portrait. By doing this she has accomplished what she set out to do, creating art that reflects on the lives of people.
