Injured on the Job I was an instructional assistant at a school for emotionally disturbed teenagers. Last May I was assaulted by a student during a crisis situation. I was in the process of restraining her; therefore, preventing her from causing harm to herself or someone else. I have had to have physical therapy, quit my job, and deal with workman’s comp until I am exhausted. I am still in a tremendous amount of pain most of the time. I am unable to most of the things I used to do as a result of this injury.
