I had acquired this sense of determination and spirit that would overcome any obstacles set before me. Good thing too, because we ended up taking the place of third. I was surprised but I did not let this destroy my spirits. I realized that we had accomplished our one true goal, which was doing our very best. And that’s exactly what we had done.
