Florida, as all of us are painfully aware, is not immune to the devastation of child abuse. In conclusion, people’s lack of knowledge, how the department of Children and families is negligent in reported cases, and prevention of child abuse is a controversial problem in Florida. With knowing what child abuse is and how to prevent it we can try to save some of Florida’s children. More funding and pay for caseworkers should increase productivity of the cases and these children should never go unnoticed.
