…showed last 75 words of 4600 total…that though this programme was intended as a commentary on a hysteria-filled, panic-fuelled media (not to mention one which is prone to not knowing what it's talking about) it never stood a chance of having its case debated in anything like a mature fashion. And that's hysterical.'
I have corrected numerous errors of grammar and sense, incidentally. The article also includes a 'Countdown to Outrage' box-out which gives us a little time-line of the affair.
