Civil Rights Essay
What does it mean to have equal rights? Does it mean we are all alike or does it mean we all should be entitled to whatever life has to offer? The Civil Rights Movement was further clarification of what it means to be free. There were earlier times in history when freedom and equality were addressed, but somehow never fully understood or realized.

new level and his work lives on as an inspiration to all. Although our country experiences more equality than ever before, perhaps the next step will be on a world level. One only has to watch the news to know that inequality is still alive and growing in the rest of the world. Perhaps the words of Dr. King and the knowledge gained from the Civil Rights Movement can be applied at a world level.
