However, this is truly evident in the “man-hunt” scene, when the boys are doing whatever they can do to kill Ralph. When the boys make this transition, the reader realizes that Golding thinks that all people are morally good, but politics and leaders corrupt them. This scene helps lead to the dramatic conclusion of Ralph almost getting killed and the boys getting rescued.
