Today, many Americans take the fact that we have food, education, transportation, clothing, jobs, and doctors to fix our physical ailments for granted. Nobody can really appreciate life until they witness the hardships and tragedies of another.

As a viewer, this film had a great impact on me. I went into the show with low expectations. I don’t normally watch movies with great variety. Instead, I am always looking for something that might appeal to me. I felt that this film was very enlightening and informative. It gave good background on Chinese history, and I can now say that I know a little more about early China.
