You may disagree with this interpretation. You may just think the paintings are entertaining, aesthetically pleasing, or not. You may be completely offended by them. Great! That's what art is all about. But to dismiss controversial works because of personal belief, to stifle art, thereby constraining debate is a crime in it self. Thus, true controversial art is not a crime, but stifling creativity is.
