lives of our “living” family for that of the cow. Furthermore, people in our society are not likely to starve their families over a superstitious belief, but the people in the other society would. Should we condemn the other society for its belief system? I think not. Cultural relativism is an evident theory to apply in situations such as this. It is clear that the true answer to the question of ethics is, cultural relativism.
