She expects 6 months old to do everything on his own and also take care of the elder brother. The family has adjusted to the child’s disability. The key word being ‘adjusted’. Our contention is that ‘adjustment’ is a mental conditioning. The society must create conditions for the adjustment to the preservation of life.
