the same respect and consideration that we give to similar interests of human beings. We not only have to view the environment in its role as fundamental to human existence, but we should value the environment itself.
We must protect nature and create an environment which involves human-nature interaction. We must recognize that “the land is ours”, only then can we truly appreciate its value and all that it has to offer (Goldfarb 40).
