Into a place not as nice as the one in New York because her father, John, was out of work. …showed last 75 words of 598 total…gave up in her faith. She fought for people’s rights and values. She spent the majority of her life helping other people, and never focusing on herself. Not many people would be willing to live the life she did, as a devoted Catholic Worker. If there were more people like Dorothy Day in the world, I believe that there would not be so much hunger and pain. I hope one day she is canonized.
