enthusiastic about literature again he starts to believe in his ability as a teacher again. Rita starts to influence Frank, his drinking problem has been cut down severely however Rita’s changes affects Frank as she becomes more educated Frank gets more unsettled and annoyed to an extent he is jealous of Rita. As Frank loses Rita’s presence he starts to drink again and this resulted in Frank being made to leave the university.
