Everybody loves to drive, right? I couldn't wait to get behind the wheel. I was finally old enough to get my learners permit. I had been studying very hard for my permit test for about two weeks, and my parents agreed that I was ready to drive. Well, my dad thought I was ready anyway. My mom wasn't too thrilled about the idea.

I felt quite a bit different the rest of that day. I couldn't wait to drive again, but I also realized there was quite a responsibility that goes along with driving. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of my mom's voice, "I'm going to the store, do you want to come?" I realized I had another opportunity to get behind the wheel, "Sure mom, I'll go if I can drive."
