Myrtle with Gatsby’s car. And Tom tells Myrtle’s husband that it was Gatsby that was driving. Which results in Gatsby’s death.
HANDLING OF EXPOSTION: We learn that Nick came from Minnesota, and he is a newly rich young man. Part of the group the newly rich and also of his neighbor whom ahs lavish parties in Saturday nights. We don’t learn about Gatsby’s actual character until later on.
