Shakespeare’s Hamlet is probably the most quoted and debated play of all time.
‘To be or not to be?’ that indeed is the question that has been asked over and over and
debated for generations. Hamlet is essentially a revenge tragedy, where the hero, Hamlet,
battles for answers to find out if Claudius really did murder his father and how shall he
deal with this.

asking questions and immediately cahoots with Claudius to murder Hamlet.
Shakespeare almost intentionally puts in the second plot to contrast the different
methods. So while the reader is contemplating about Hamlet’s tactics, the reader is also
entertained by a complete opposite approach. This all adds to the tragedy of the ending,
striking all emotions at once.
