In Shakespeare’s play of Hamlet, we are under the impression that Hamlet is emotionally suffering with his troubled relationship with his mother, Gertrude. His relationship with Gertrude clearly inhibits him at various points in the play, and exhibits a variety of emotions. a negative presence in the play. Hamlet is exposed to a false sense of womanhood from his mother. By having his relationship with Gertrude turn sour, he concluded his mother as possess and internal evil. The mother he loved, causing the minds of Hamlet corrupted through his actions and behaviors. The relationship that Hamlet shared between Gertrude certainly plays a role and obvious effect in his insanity, and on the final outcome of the play.
