In our class we have learned about writers, poets, self-educated men, their views on nature, and their struggles. I feel that Thoreau’s character fits into the theme of our class. His struggles were similar to the rest and so were his accomplishments. Each man we discussed ended up becoming a great writer or poet, and Thoreau was not different.
