the BIOS, usually you need to press DEL of F1 when the computer is turned on. When you are inside the BIOS setup program, you should select standard CMOS setup, when inside here you can enter the hard drive’s parameters. Modern computers have an automatic detection system that is safer and quicker to use. When this is done, save the settings and reboot the computer. The new hard drive should be ready to use.
