You may or may not be familiar with her but she was known as a minor writer, an author of the late-nineteenth-century, and a “local colorist.” Her name is Kate Chopin and she is a very skilled writer whose emphasis is on the uniqueness and charm of a given region when writing. I’m just asking you Mrs. Morgan to just give it a shot and I’m positive it will be a success and will probably be the student’s favorite story of the year.
