King Arthur and Julius Caesar are both loved by the people they rule, but are betrayed by people close to them. Both of these men have hidden flaws which eventually lead to their downfall. The just manner in which they rule is reflected by the love the people they rule have for them. It is interesting to note that betrayal for Caesar and King Arthur was not due to unhappiness among the public. Instead the betrayal came from fear or jealousy within their own infrastructures; Caesar’s Senate, and Arthur’s Round Table.
