LEUKEMIA
Leukemia is cancer of the blood cells and blood forming tissues. It is a kind of cancer in which certain of the leucocytes (which are white blood cells) grow in an uncontrolled, irregular manner. White blood cells are a part of the blood which defend the body against germs, viruses, and foreign materials of all kinds. They are produced in the bone marrow, spleen, and lymph glands.
