Life In the Trenches
World War 1 is very disturbing. I think that what happened was a big waste of energy, time and most of all life. The thing that I find most disturbing about the war is that the German’s didn’t want to be there any more then the Canadian, British and French did. …showed last 75 words of 337 total…Most of the soldiers probably had families to go home to and unless they continued to kill, they would never see their families again. It must have been hard for the soldiers to sleep knowing that enemy troops could be lurking closer and closer quietly through no-man’s land. I think soldiers were able to survive though these tough and terrible times by having hope that someday they would return to there families and friends.
