No one knows exactly who invented gunpowder or how it was invented. What we do know is that it was invented during the later part of the Ming Dynasty. At first it was just used for rudimentary fire works. Later it became used lightly as a weapon of war. They weren’t very advanced and didn’t really do a lot except scare people and flash a whole lot. bad and visa versa. With out gunpowder, explosives wouldn’t have come about, so rocket wouldn’t have been created, condemning Man to Earth for eternity. Mining, and drilling would still take forever and a day, and aircraft would never have gotten off the ground. These weapons have done a great deal of damage have also done a great deal of good, and in them can be found Man’s most admiration, and despicable traits.
