our society but we close our eyes to its causes. We complain about how disrespectful children are today but, never stop to think that maybe it’s because our children are not respected. We listen to the child upstairs scream while they’re getting beaten, and don’t pick up the phone. If we as a society don’t start working to end the war against our children the “cycle of abuse” will only grow.
