the forest on to the beach. When Ralph falls on the beach he runs into a Naval Officer. The officer finds the rest of the boys and takes them home. When Jack is found, he doesn't want to leave. This ends the story. Jack and Ralph finally won't have to fight about being leaders any more. They both wanted to be the leader very badly. The long fight is now over for Ralph and Jack.
