In conclusion Macbeth was just too tempted by the thought of becoming king and having all that power and admiration, that his brain became clouded and he could not find good. Then when the second prophecy came true it was all over for the great Macbeth. The witches’ prophecies and the prophecies of the apparitions raised by the witches have a major influence on Macbeth and the outcome of the play.
