In Macbeth, the witches had much influence over Macbeth’s actions. This all started when Macbeth and Banquo were going back to the king’s castle after the battle was over, and they met the 3 witches. The witches told them some prophesies and disappeared. Macbeth and Banquo kept thinking about the prophesies and thinking if they will come true. …showed last 75 words of 353 total…born of a woman. But Macduff wasn’t and he kills Macbeth. I think that the witches’ prophesies was the problem with Macbeth. If they never made those prophesies then Macbeth wouldn’t have killed Duncan to become king. Instead of being a hated king he might have become a loved and strong military leader. But he took the witches prophesies and made them happen himself. This caused the downfall of Macbeth in my opinion.
