America is treated like a big market that is constantly being surveyed to see what the next big seller will be. In a sense Japanese and American cultures are not that different. We all like the same things because if we didn’t then movies and video games that come from Japan would not appeal to us. Japanese animation is one big culture of it’s own and it encompasses both Japanese and American culture.
