Both of these terms include such a very wide variety of disciplines and areas of study that it is almost impossible to make any conclusions involving all aspects. I know the impact of the Bauhaus and of mass production for example, but I’ve chosen not to go into it because I think it’s clear that they evolved from the two major ideas above: rejection of the past and progression.
