A person really can’t appreciate the small things in life until you have it all taken away from you. I know this from many experiences. One of the longest times in my life was when I broke my ankle. …showed last 75 words of 1206 total…while it was painful, and made me dependent on the ones I least wanted to be a burden to, it was a learning experience that made me who I am today. Although I would not recommend it to others, it would be a better world if something like this happened to everyone, so that they too, could respect the little things in life, and see this new world that breaking my ankle led me to.
