There is a debate over whether the United States needs a National Missile Defense. The National Missile Defense system if built is a system of interceptor missiles. The system would help prevent a nuclear missile attack on the United States. The system is under development and there are two plans, each plan calls for a different solution. I will explain where the idea for the National Missile Defense system originated; the differences in the debate
