Romeo takes revenge of his friends death by killing Tybalt, which results in Prince Escalus banishing him from Verona. Fate causes Count Paris, a young count and kinsman to the prince, to desire Juliet's hand in marriage at the time of her marriage to Romeo. Count Paris’ desire causes an untimely death for Romeo and Juliet. Although in some stories fate is rarely used, in the play of Romeo and Juliet, fate is very imminent.
