kills Lennie. Lennie was what gave George´s life a purpose and finally Lennie has gone to a place where the vision of paradise is real, because Candy´s, George´s, Crooks´and Curley´s wife´s desires cannot be found in this world.
That dream of “a place” as an Edenic-vision has disappeared. Curley´s wife is like Eve in the original Eden myth, and she leads to the destructrion of this “place” dream.
