In the papal letter the Novit (Crisis, pp.134-135)Innocent III stated how the papal society can justifiably interfere with the feudal disputes between the kings of France and England. …showed last 75 words of 520 total…us, and we can and should exercise any-one…” (Innocent lst p) This quote really sums up what the whole letter is about. He says plan and simply that he understands that the kings have their own rights, and he has no intention to take those rights away, yet when the issue is dealt with in a sinful way, it is the right and duty of the priest to take over the control of that issue.
