Portfolio Proposal
My portfolio proposal is going to be short and sweet. The reason for this basically stems from the fact that I believe writing is overemphasized in most educational settings. Over the duration of my education I have been forced to write in many lengthy pages what can be summed up perfectly and poetically in one sentence. I am a firm believer that quality will always be triumphant over it’s greatest opponent, quantity.

Mark Twain once said, “We write frankly and fearlessly but then we ‘modify’ before we print. ”. My intention this semester is to abandon modification. This will leave me with a raw style of writing; a style that I believe will better express myself than any other. With such an unprocessed expression of myself, I can truly be proud of the work I produce.
