In 1892, farmers fed up with the laissez faire attitude of the Federal Government,
the falling prices of the goods they worked so hard to produce, and the hole of
debt they were digging themselves into, farmers in the Midwest formed the

created a brighter future for average citizens, but also created a precedence for
every political leader that followed. They set the standard for future presidents
and are the reason that America is still focused on progress even today. For that,
Progressivism is the best thing to happen to America, because it has forced us to
constantly re-evaluate current situations and press forward for a better tomorrow.
