The story, Romeo and Juliet carried a constant theme of love and death. William Shakespeare wrote this play with several different ideas in mind. He tried to have a romance story that still incorporated violence as well as comedy making a play that all classes of people would enjoy. Her plan didn’t really go off with a bang, when Romeo comes to see her, he finds her dead (but she’s really only sleeping) and he kills himself. Than Juliet wakes up and finds Romeo dead so she kills herself. The overall themes throughout the story were love, death, and fighting. For Romeo and Juliet love is what brought them together, as well as their death.
