It also gives the homosexual relationship an identity and status that essentially jeopardizes the nature and rights of the family. Most strongly, the Bible clearly states that same-sex marriages are immoral and sinful. Many people deem homosexual activity and certain life styles as immoral and objectionable. Legislation should not seek to equate legal marriage in homosexual relationships.
