An impression that many American’s have is that people, who live in impoverished neighborhoods, are lazy and refuse to work. They feel that this is the reason they do not succeed in life. Community Outreach Committee. When looking for it, help is available for the people of the South Bronx who may feel that the world is caving in on them. The difficult situation is that, many of these children may not be looking for help. They may be afraid to come forward or some other source of influence may find them first. This other source may not be the best of influences, and may misdirect the Youth.
