He amalgamated both aesthetic and moral considerations into his objection to facial tattoos. Kant believes that facial tattoos will relate to the neoclassical ideal that allows facial tattoos to enhance human beauty. He also believes that the expressionist ideal of human beauty is consistent with the condition of moral respect, in that the ideal of human beauty is to be embody exclusively (Wicks).
