Be sure that your outline has three levels.
Begin each body or discussion paragraph with a topic sentence.
· Write eight to twelve sentences in each paragraph.
· Use transitions.
· Begin sentences in a variety of ways: with subordinate classes, with prepositional prhases, transitions, and verbals.

· Do not use more than two coordinating conjunctions in a sentence.
