accomplish what you had intended to accomplish. That spring I stood in the middle of
the lacrosse field recollecting the whole event: in my uniform, on my team, holding my
stick, and smiling. This was really truly my team, and I had jumped over sexist barriers
to be able to be able to play on a middle school lacrosse team.
