The Great Gatsby
The Great Gatsby is a story, told through an observer, about a man’s trials and tribulations who tries to regain what he had in the past. The whole focus of the story is on Gatsby’s dream, his desire to rekindle the flames of a previous fire. Daisy, the fire, is along for the ride. A ride that contains many twists and turns that only lead to corruption.

Daisy’s actions after Gatsby’s death proved that she was with Gatsby only for his money. She did not got to his funeral but left somewhere with Tom. The attendance at the funeral was pitiful. It shows how Gatsby completely failed in achieving what he wanted. Nick who was completely devastated in the events that occurred decided that New York wasn’t a place for him to be.
