because she didn¡¯t change at all throughout the story. While growing up she would physically abuse and controlled by her father. Even her husband would controlled her but a little bit far beyond her father until the point in which she cannot look at the window, or talk on the phone. The irony is over this character because she left her house because the prisoner feeling but she ended up in the same situation.
